"Family and Culture" is a course that approaches daily family life by presupposing the family as a cultural unit. Its purpose is to address the changes and values in daily family life from a cultural perspective. Through this learning, the course aims to discover the traditions and strengths unique to Korean families by examining the major issues and causes of conflict embedded within the culture, as well as identifying necessary solutions. Furthermore, it ultimately seeks to provide an opportunity to reconstruct an everyday family culture suitable for the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. "Family and Culture" is a course focused on diagnosing the problems of Korean families and exploring future directions by examining the realities they face in connection with culture. In our daily lives, there is nothing absolutely right or wrong. We simply want to live happily while our daily lives are respected. This implies that the lifestyles of others must also be respected. Therefore, when studying "Family and Culture," one must maintain a critical awareness that one's own stereotypes or prejudices limit not only others but also one's own thinking. Additionally, I hope that the learning process will provide an opportunity for reflection by viewing our everyday culture from a more detached perspective.
