KyoBooks FAQ

Ordering and availability

What does “In stock” mean?

Every title displayed as In stock is available for KyoBooks to prepare and hand to FedEx within 0–1 business day. Processing runs Monday through Saturday with a 2:00 PM Pacific Time cutoff; orders after the cutoff begin processing on the next processing day.

Can I cancel an order?

You may cancel for a full refund until the parcel is handed to FedEx. After carrier handoff, cancellation is no longer available, but the published return policy still applies after delivery.

Shipping

Where do orders ship from?

All customer parcels depart from our partner fulfillment hub in Seoul, South Korea.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver to the international destinations offered for your address at checkout. We do not deliver within South Korea. A destination may be unavailable when FedEx service is unavailable or suspended, or when sanctions, export-control or another carrier or legal restriction applicable to the transaction prevents shipment.

Which carrier do you use?

KyoBooks uses FedEx for international orders. Every parcel has tracking, and the tracking number is sent separately after dispatch.

How long does delivery take?

Across supported destinations, the estimated total is 6–9 business days: 0–1 business day for handling and an estimated 6–8 business days in FedEx transit. This is an estimate rather than a guaranteed maximum, and customs or destination conditions can cause delays.

Are duties and import taxes included?

No. Product prices and KyoBooks shipping charges exclude destination duties, VAT, customs charges and brokerage fees. Customs authorities or FedEx assess those amounts directly to the customer.

Returns and refunds

Can I return a book?

For new orders, you may request a return within 30 calendar days after delivery. A voluntary return must be new, unread, complete and suitable for resale. Mandatory consumer rights in your country continue to apply.

Where do I send a return?

Email support before sending anything. After you contact support, we provide the correct Korean return address and instructions. Authorization applies only to voluntary buyer-remorse returns; a statutory withdrawal notice does not require approval. Do not send returns to the Wyoming registered office.

Who pays return shipping?

For a voluntary return, the customer pays tracked return shipping. If KyoBooks sent the wrong item or a book arrived damaged, defective or not as described, KyoBooks covers the reasonable return cost and offers the legally appropriate refund or replacement.

When is a refund issued?

Approved returns are refunded to the original payment method within 10 business days after the Korean fulfillment partner receives and approves the book.
