“This is a book my child reads whenever they have a spare moment after school or before going to tutoring these days. It is categorized into 10 themes—such as attitudes, emotions, situations, relationships, and characters—and includes 10 corresponding idioms for each. It contains a whopping 100 idioms in a single volume. Since the meanings are understood first through short comics, it becomes easy to encounter the idioms. The passages, featuring 4-panel comics, speech bubbles, and quiz questions, are tailored to an elementary school level, so both my first and second child giggle while reading it. The cover says "Giggle-Giggle Idiom Origin Comics," and I never expected them to actually giggle! In addition to idioms, the appendix includes 40 additional four-character idioms, so I think reading this book repeatedly will significantly improve their elementary vocabulary.”
