However, considering that classics are a treasure trove of intellectual achievements forged by confronting, rather than avoiding, the prejudice that they are merely old, difficult, and useless must be corrected. Classics are the academic culmination of intellectuals who devoted their entire lives to embodying the spirit of their time and discovering the most important values, as well as the product of the pure passion displayed by intellectual human beings. By examining the critical awareness raised regarding humanity and society and the earnest agonizing thoughts of figures who lived through a specific era, we can discover the essence of the so-called spirit of the age. By studying ancient classics, we can cultivate the power to reflect on our present lives and creatively envision the future.
