Lee Kwan-yong et al.: Algorithms (26-1 semester, workbook included)
If computer science is a science on solving problems using computers, it's a very important question of how to solve them effectively and in what ways. In terms of the step-by-step solution to a given problem, the field of algorithms is one of the most fundamental and central aspects of computer science. So computer science is also called the study of algorithms. In this course, the problem of (1) sorting, browsing, graphing, string processing, and so on is taught how to design and analyze algorithms using a universal and well-known algorithm. In this process it is important to learn how to use different algorithms in real life. This course will (1) train us to think systematically about how and how we can solve problems using computers, and as a result of this training we will be able to (3) improve intellectual abstracting of the given problems. The textbook consists of seven chapters. Starting with basic learning for the design and analysis of algorithms, we start with chapter two and then we go through a typical algorithm, including the sorting algorithm, the navigation algorithm, graph algorithm, dynamic programming algorithm, string algorithm, and near-death algorithms.
