Hong Gil-hoe et al.: Parent counseling at early childhood education institutions
‘ You need a whole village to raise a child. There's a foreign saying. It means that to raise a human properly, we need the attention and support of all of its members. It takes all of our effort and attention to make sure that our infants, who are going to lead the future, grow healthy and happy. Infancy is an important time in life to develop a healthy human being, to form social relationships through attachment to parents, to create basic lifestyles, and so on. So partnership cooperation with families and the British infant education community is very important. And when teachers and parents work together and move forward, they can grow emotionally and physically healthy. It was written at the infant training site to help us understand effective parental counseling, especially in understanding the various changing families and parents, which stressed the challenges of parenting and communication for this. The key sweetened parents' counseling is the understanding of what teachers should be prepared for parental counseling, what parts to observe and understand, how to communicate effectively. And I hope this book will help teachers and administrators and prospective infants in this area.
