As I read, the scenes came vividly back to mind, and I liked that there were some differences from the drama.
It is my absolute favorite and most cherished drama. It makes me feel excited, as if I’ve become Chen Xiaoxi myself, and brings back so many fond memories even though I haven't even started high school yet. I was even happier when it was released as a book. The book provides deeper insights into details I missed in the drama, and discovering these behind-the-scenes stories was so much fun and made me feel so thrilled. Even though half of Volume 2 was clearly an extra chapter, I do feel it was quite long... but I still miss Jiang Chen and Chen Xiaoxi... It certainly has a very different vibe from the drama. This is a review written after reading it for the second time. Even after reading it twice in a row, it remains perfectly entertaining and completely immersive. They say one of the good habits for reading is re-reading. They say that when you read something again, you see things you didn't notice before
