Kim So-wol: Azalea

Along with Han Yong-un, Kim Sowol is still one of the most widely read and studied poets. No one can deny that he is a representative poet for whom a new perspective is required to understand his works. He is not merely a poet of adolescence. It is difficult to deny that his poetry has shared the breath of our national language and will continue to do so in the future. This collection compiles only the poems included in *Azaleas*. It will serve as a new opportunity to explore the contemporary relevance of its literary significance. Examining the trends regarding the study of Sowol to date, his poetry was generally treated negatively or passively until the 1930s, with a few exceptions, and this trend continued until the 1960s.
