Description

Computer graphics is a technology that models and fakes visual information through computers and transmits it to people through computer screens and other outputs. The visual information could be a picture of the actual scene around us, like a photograph, or a picture made of pencils or paints on paper, or some design, such as architecture or electronic circuits. Or it could be a 3D modeling technology, a character, a car, an airplane, or something like that, and it could also be an animation that these objects move to create. This variety of visual information, in this way, is much more natural to understand information than it is to write or speak. But to make this possible, you need complex algorithms, mathematical tools, hardware devices. This textbook deals with basic principles and algorithms necessary to visualize the entire concept of the computer graphics system, along with the graphic object and its various attributes, and to form a picture made up of these objects, and also to show them through the screen. The basic theories and techniques of computer graphics used in the process of modeling three-dimensional images and making two-dimensional pictures, such as visual or camera photographs, are what this textbook is about. We also introduce the technology that will implement this theoretical content using the computer graphics APls called the KGL as a program.
