Kim Ik-su et al.: Digital Currency Policies and Directions for Economic and Financial Cooperation in Major Northeast Asian Countries

The development of digital and IT technologies, including the spread of corona 19, artificial intelligence, and Big Data, is changing the financial industry and the global system of macroeconomics. The article looks at this situation and tries to promote economic and financial cooperation by looking at major issues that have been emerging in the big economy and financial sectors of the country, the United States, China, and the other major countries of North Korea. The new global currency (CBDC; 1995217204) that is happening in China and the United States since 2019, has been reviewed collectively in terms of the background of the competition and current policy trends, post-advanced influences and problems, and then suggests a policy proposition for the South Korean government, the Bank of Korea and its corporations.
