I purchased this for the lecture.
This book explains chemistry in an easy-to-understand way, but I particularly liked how it poses sequential "questions" that make you think, "Why are we studying this?" and "Why do things work the way they do?" This encourages more fundamental thinking and learning. It made me feel as if a professor or instructor was right beside me while I was reading. I had taken an agricultural science course before that used this approach, and I believe this method serves as a crucial learning point when
It's difficult. Those who haven't taken Chemistry 1 and 2 should be prepared.
I'm using the textbook well~~
I am making good use of this as a textbook for my Korea Open University classes.
Explains basic chemistry in an easy-to-understand way.
It is a masterpiece that is free of unnecessary details and concisely summarizes the core content.
An Jong-geon et al.: Agricultural Biological Chemistry (26-1 semester, workbook included)
Understanding the characteristics of crops and livestock is essential for the efficient and stable production and utilization of agricultural products. In other words, it is necessary to be able to chemically understand and explain the unique biological phenomena occurring in crops and livestock. Biochemistry is a discipline that focuses on understanding and explaining the metabolic reactions of living organisms, and most of the cultivation and rearing techniques currently applied in agriculture are methods developed based on the biochemical facts of crops and livestock. Therefore, a biochemical understanding of crops and livestock is essential to overcome environmental constraints and limitations surrounding agriculture and to produce high-productivity, high-quality, and safe agricultural products. While the volume of the latest biochemical information and research is vast and increasing at a rapid pace, this textbook aims to enable students to understand biochemical concepts related to agricultural production involving crops and livestock by extracting and organizing the framework of previously discovered content. Furthermore, rather than rote memorization of fragmentary information, emphasis has been placed on content and comparative explanations to foster understanding and interest in major courses related to crops and livestock by enabling students to grasp the basic principles of biochemistry and the organic regulatory processes within living organisms.
