So-so. There are often times when I wonder if the attached photo was actually taken that well.
Without prior information or interest, it cannot be seen. Photography directly reflects the results of perception. Extracting meaning from the objects unfolding before one's eyes remains the human task. The phrase "the intention was not well reflected" should be changed to "one failed to see properly." The act of taking a photograph is the transfer of one's perception into a picture. A good photograph is one that faithfully captures what was seen, rather than merely what is visible. (p. 102)
At first glance, Yoon Kwang-jun seemed like a somewhat odd person. This was understandable, given that I had first read books on topics I enjoy, such as cameras, as well as Yoon’s books on lifestyle luxury goods. Most people tend to become indifferent when they develop interests in multiple fields, as their attention naturally becomes scattered. However, the more I read Yoon’s books, the more I realized that it is possible to maintain such a wide range of interests while simultaneously
Yoon Gwang-jun: A well-taken photo
Returning with a complete overhaul of photographs and a shift towards digital cameras for a new generation of readers, *A Well-Taken Photo* is back. This book, which unusually became a general bestseller, returns to readers after 10 years, adapting to new technology while retaining the unchanging know-how and attitude regarding "short, easy photos." The author advises that to take good photos, one must "take many and look at many," recommending that readers start by capturing images that are small and simple yet express their own stories or interests. Furthermore, rather than focusing on flashy techniques, the author shares a philosophy of life based on their own experiences. In other words, they state that the greatest reason for taking photos is to aim to capture one's own story in every picture, without being conscious of others or comparing oneself to them.
