The content covered in educational theories is quite lacking, so it is somewhat difficult to prepare for the teacher certification exam relying solely on this textbook. It is good for studying in continuous text format.

As the trends in the teacher certification exam have become somewhat established, we are publishing the 4th edition of EPR Pedagogy to make it an even more substantial study guide. First, although I initially intended to remove the sections on the History of Education and Educational Philosophy, I canceled this plan after reviewing last year's exam implementation plans for each city and province and confirming that Introduction to Pedagogy, the History of Education, and Educational Philosophy were included in the scope of the Pedagogy exam. Additionally, I had lingering concerns that Educational Evaluation was being neglected because Curriculum and Evaluation were combined in Part 4. To address this, I have completed the task of separating Curriculum and Evaluation and expanding the Educational Evaluation section to 40 pages. With this change, I feel relieved that we have been able to keep up with the recent trends in Educational Evaluation that frequently appear on the exam. Next, I was always concerned for first-time readers that some of the core EPR questions did not align with the exam trends. Taking this opportunity, I have identified and deleted all such instances. A total of 23 questions were removed, including 1 in Curriculum, 1 in Educational Evaluation, 16 in Educational Sociology, and 5 in Educational Administration and Management. As a result, the book is reduced by approximately 50 pages. Additionally, the table of contents has been completely rewritten to facilitate preparation for the teacher certification exam. Most importantly, the table of contents for basic theories has been organized in detail by educational domain, allowing the reader to grasp the entire subject simply by looking at the outline. Upon reviewing the table of contents, one finds that the entire scope of education is clearly visible at a glance. It makes one wonder why this work was not done earlier. Meanwhile, the EPR Pedagogy Essay Writing course is held at the Lifelong Education Center every spring semester. Those wishing to take the course should register at the Lifelong Education Center.
