Takayuki Hirano: Japan's Regional Welfare Policies and Methods

Japan's local welfare policy and method were translated into a 2008 book published in Japan by Professor Hirano Takayuki of Japan’s Social Welfare University, who has been disfellowshipped as "Theory and Method of Local Welfare Strategy.". The book goes beyond the traditional Japanese community welfare research that has focused only on methods of practice and deals with local welfare in terms of local and local government policies.
