Sylvain Tesson: Summer with Homer
The Greek writer Homer of the eighth century B.C.E. History records him as the author of the great epic, Ilias... odyseia., but who Hormerus is, and whether or not he wrote these two epics, is still uncertain. Despite such controversy, it is only true that the two epics left by his name are the most widely and most important masterpieces in human history. Who is Homer? Are they the lonely geniuses that walk along the river or are they a bunch of melodic poets that have been around for centuries? Historian Bernard Berenson of 1957 stated:. “I've read about Homer all my life. Literature, history, archaeology, geography. Now I just want to read Homer as a purely artistic person. What kind of person could he have been, back in the day, talking about how we haven't even been? Why do those 2,500-year-old stories sound so familiar today? The book was written on the basis of a program called "Summersong" by Hung Homeros, broadcast in summer 2017 at Radio Station Interterchain, France. I suggest to us that author and adventurer, Sylvin Tessa. I'd like to stop and read a few words from the top of the mountain, holding out my name, Elias.
