Description

Mastering Essential Algorithms with Python: Core Concepts and Practice Problems. This book is divided into two parts—core concepts and practice problems—to allow you to learn everything about algorithms. The core concepts section explains Python's basic syntax and usage, as well as the characteristics of essential algorithms. Using Python, which is more concise and easier than other programming languages, you will learn core concepts regarding basic data structures and various fundamental algorithms before tackling complex programming. In the practice problems section, you will apply the algorithms learned in the core concepts to solve a total of 43 practice problems. These problems consist of essential questions that were used to evaluate programming skills in languages such as C and Java. You will learn a diverse range of problems, from easy basics to difficult advanced challenges, aligned with fundamental algorithm patterns. While solving the problems, the book does not simply provide the questions and answers; it also explains the approach, hints, potential pitfalls, and complete code explanations to help you understand and solve the algorithms yourself.

There are too many errors when studying data structures in the beginning. Even if you type and run the code exactly as written, there are many instances where it does not work as described in the book. For those new to data structures, this brings the joy of having to search for information on the internet again.

The quality of the example materials is poor in some parts, and there are frequent instances where content from previous sections has been reused without proper correction. Overall, it is a book that shows a great deal of effort to pack the core content into a single volume. However, I would actually not recommend it for learning purposes. This book is not intended for learning Python, nor does it cover algorithms in depth; however, it seems like a good opportunity for those who wish to

Among the few books covering data structures and algorithms in Python, this one provides the clearest explanations. While it cannot cover everything in a single volume, I think it will be sufficient for beginners and intermediate learners.

Ah, what a new book smells! In the next generation, there is a saying that those who know how to program are "language wizards." The moment I saw the cover of this book, I thought, "A wizard's book!!" Just then... I happened to be taking a Python basic course on an online learning site called Inflearn. Just then! I received a message via the official Developoid message service regarding a book review event! I thought to myself, "Since I'm studying Python right now, 'Wow! Is this a chance from

We live in an era where the term "Fourth Industrial Revolution" has emerged in line with the flow of change. With "coding" becoming mandatory in the revised school curriculum, students are starting to learn coding and algorithms as early as elementary school, and for those who have started learning algorithms a step ahead of others, that in itself has become a valuable credential. Keeping pace with this trend, I also wanted to learn algorithms, coding, and programming, so I was gradually

I majored in Electrical Engineering in college and learned C++. I remember finding it fun at first, but eventually just giving up on it. I still vividly recall frantically preparing for employment afterward by purchasing commercially available C++ programming books. Back then, I found it somewhat inconvenient that even simple statements or calculations required the use of various commands. I looked into this book with the intention of studying Python, which has significantly improved upon these

I am neither a professional programmer nor have I ever taken a programming education course. I am studying Python programming solely as a hobby through self-study. I studied basic syntax using an introductory Python book. While I can solve example problems involving simple calculation functions, it becomes difficult to create code when slightly more complex logic is involved. To improve my skills, I needed to study in greater depth. This book is not an introductory guide for beginners. Although

I purchased this book on the 26th, just two days after the publication of the first edition, first printing. (*Please be aware that other reviews written to earn points may be misleading!) I hadn't been able to find the book I wanted until now, as Python algorithm books were either too easy or too difficult due to their focus on data analysis or machine learning. Just then, this book was published. The book is divided into two parts: 'Core Concepts' and 'Practical Problems,' structured to allow

If you have learned programming, you have likely heard the analogy comparing programming languages to English grammar at least once. No matter how well you understand English grammar, if you lack the ability to apply it to actual texts or write code yourself, that knowledge will ultimately be of no use. The same applies to programming. No matter how many programming languages you know, if you lack the ability to apply them to create your own programs, it can be very difficult to find employment

Although Python has a shorter history compared to other programs, the number of users continues to grow. Ranking third in usage among numerous programs, it is steadily solidifying its position; furthermore, as a useful program for internet and app development, it is considered an important program in terms of future potential for development and utility. As the word "algorithm" is included in the title of this book, its purpose is to target readers who are unfamiliar with algorithms or those
