The readability is absolutely top-tier. I knew nothing about coding, so I don’t think this would be easy as a first book. I recommend it to people who have plenty of time. Time flies while reading it.
Park Dong-gyu et al.: Best Python
How the book is organized Like the first edition, this book is designed to help university students in general education courses and majors approach programming easily and find it interesting. It explains everything from installing Python to basic output statements, operators, conditionals, loops, functions, and classes, and includes many practice problems. It also covers more advanced Python topics, including how to use various modules and the NumPy package. Advanced material in each chapter is marked separately as [Advanced Study]. These sections offer deeper material intended to spark students’ interest, and instructors can choose whether to teach them as needed. What changed in the revised edition The first edition had 11 chapters, while the revised edition has 13. The book can be used for self-study, but it was also carefully planned as a textbook for a 15-week university course. It organizes the essential material for learning Python into 13 weeks, excluding midterms and finals. Some chapters in the first edition were uneven in the amount of material they covered, so the content has been redistributed into a new chapter structure. For example, Chapter 3 of the first edition covered so many control-flow topics that it was too much for one week. In the revised edition, conditionals and loops are split into separate Chapters 3 and 4. As a result, the material from Chapters 4 through 11 of the first edition now appears in Chapters 5 through 12.
