Lim Jong-su: A Stroll Through Eastern Classics
In the Holy Bible, Christians want to hear God's voice and be comforted. A weary heart is a sabbath, and a broken soul longs to heal. Sometimes I want to remain calm in the quiet of the quiet when the word has subsided. But the Bible is full of innocent human tears, and colors and desires. Maybe the Bible is a place where human body and wound have been exposed to no longer be able to run away. I think it's not the same with the Eastern High School. Because in the Eastern classics, the path of fun and hurt and healing and recovery has been deeply carved into people's lives. So, what is it? While I was writing in the Christian world, I used to experience the East Classics and the Bible as a mirror of each other. I read the book of the Orient, and I saw that there was a new passage in the Bible, and that it made the familiar phrase of the Old Testament sound even closer. I hope you'll find in this little book a search for the true meaning of the Scriptures through the holy writings and the wish to ask for the meaning of Christianity.
