Lee Seung-ha: In Search of the Pillars of Korean Buddhist Literature
I learned a great deal while exploring the literary legacies of Manhae and Oh Hyeon, who are major pillars of Korean Buddhist literature, as well as those of monks Hyobong and Gyeongbong. The teachings of all these figures ultimately came down to one thing: practice. This year marks 40 years since my literary debut. I am treating the publication of this book as a milestone and placing myself once again at the starting line of a new literary journey.
