What kind of praise does God like? How does God like to praise him? The Bible and the Church, the right praise! It is a time of praise. A lot of songs are poured out each year, and CCMchats are being presented on major voice sites that have no connection with Christianity. Many are the ones who call them Christians to make a big market, and they point out that the key to worship is not to preach but to sing. But now there are growing concern about the songs called hymns. Although many of the songs in the service without concern about the nature of praise are offered to God, more and more of the time, they focus on improving and comforting the emotions of those who call, rather than pleasing God. So, when the song is played, the heat of feeling arises from the congregation, but it does not lead to a strange phenomenon in life that fears God and obeys his words. The poverty of abundance, with so much praise, is in the grip of a crisis that the future does not seem to be. So it is time to make sure that our songs are carefully examined. And the way we check our songs is first to look at the Scriptures, which are the basis of all faiths, and second, to examine the tradition of faith. This is a book written by a professor teaching church history in a seminary on this urgent need.
