Lee In-jae et al.: Social Security Theory
Since the beginning of 1999, four revisions of Social Security have been published in a typical introduction to those who want to learn social welfare. Social Security has been an injustice to those who want to learn social welfare in a very tight-temporary way of dealing with the theoretical discussions and issues of Social Security, from the current aspects of Korean institutions. The revised edition, published 12 years after the third revision of 2010, has largely revised the section of the Third Korean Social Security System. Chapter 2, ‘ The History of Social Security, ’ chapter 5, ‘ The Principles and Features of Health Care, ’ Chapter 7, ‘ The principles and characteristics of birth insurance, ’ and chapter 10, ‘ Health Insurance. ’. As a result, the original text has been added to more than 100 pages in a profound revision. The authors who have studied social welfare and Social Security over the years have not only dealt with the reformation of institutions but also deeply with the challenges of social change. The rapid expansion of the elderly and the decline of newborn babies, as well as the change in population structure and the rise of social activity in the Corona19 Pandemimic situation, have given new challenges to the Social Security system. The author said in his introduction that he hopes that this revision will help him understand the social security system that fits the social and ecological change.
