Description

Fascinating stories, numerous symbols, immortal beings, heroes who face harsh fates. The myth that has provided humanity with the most undying imagination for thousands of years is still the best text to show the irony of living, understanding human nature. Myth and psychoanalysis: The invention of psychoanasts is a book that has renewed and interpreted the major myths of peoples around the world as a way of psycho-analystizing. Authors use Freud, Jung, and modern psychoanalysis to show the essence of the ‘psychological Mythology’ that touches the hearts of human mind by unmasking the symbols contained in the 20th pages of Sumerian, Korean, Chinese, Chinese and Japanese, Egypt, Greece, Northern European mythology and heroic myths. It also provides a more formal understanding of the meaning and value of mythology by a colorful approach that goes beyond psychoanalysis, humanology and folk science. The tools of psychoanalysis to interpret and understand mythology are “a remarkable event that is interacting with the underlying unconscious in our mind and is now ‘here’”. It offers a chance to experience more vividly the myths of human desires and emotions thousands of years ago, deep-wounded wounds and traces of disaster, multiple messages that should be kept in mind for survival.

And so, it's because of changes in the content and composition of the book, but I personally think it'll be interesting to read it again, because
