I can't believe it's Joan Doeon's book! I've been waiting for so many translations in Korea, but I'm glad to hear it.
Joanne Didion: Crouching toward Bethlehem
Joan Deion, a myth who was beyond the 'insight essay' in the English beauty world. In 1968, Uuddahk, headed for Bethlehem, was the first non-fiction with his article and essay, “The Esai Preservation of the Most Compassive Influence Over the last 60 Years” and is a novel-like classic of New Journalism. The book, with its prototypes and integers of the Deion style, explores the Hippie and other anti-cultural figures and places and paints the American portraits of the revolution in 1960s while entwining its interior and its homeland, Sacramento, and beyond. Today, the old modernist who has been able to bring back to our language the work of a number of female writers, including Margaret Atwood, Susan Kamak and Patti Smith, has also been skilled at bringing back the delicate sentences and the rhythms of the book, which extends the writing of women and the escapade of essays. The Untranslations, which tells him what writing means, also helps him understand the world of Dodion.
