Jo Cheol-gi: Place-based geography education
Place-based education has a universal nature that refers to the use of education as a teaching aid for the learner's community and local environment, not only geography but all its subjects. A learner can enrich his personal geography by learning about places and develop creativity and critical thinking. The book has solved the theory and reality of place-based education in the form of 40 questions/ themes and answers. First, we look at the concept of geography, such as the definition of place, location, and how to learn place-based, and then identity, happiness, and so on, and the emotional sphere of the individual, the world economy, culture, sports, the relationship between human rights and places, and we look for the connection between human life and place. And in each subject, we applied that concept to the professor, to the actual educational site by describing how to learn. It is hoped that this book will help you to understand place-based geography education in a broader way and to expand the potential of the classroom.
