From the opening of the 1876s until now, it is very difficult to understand exactly the current flow of Korean modern architecture. The modern Korean construction, this time published, is under the view of later structuralists, as a history by Dyergram. Meanwhile, Korean modern architecture books, essays and architectural works on specific topics and seasons were available to some extent. But it was difficult to find a comprehensive work of architectural transformation and research on major architects from one consistent perspective. This book is a combination of research that author has built over the years and decades since the 1990s, a general argument for modern Korean architecture, and an overview of architects who lived through the era.
