Jeon Ji-young: Arts Education and Ideology
The intelligent being is the ones who want to develop the real world with knowledge, and never are they the real saviors. But they are obsessed with the illusion of being ‘intelligent, ’ and they see themselves right in reality and want to be enlightened. In that sense, the intelligent person is a repressive ruler of reality. So the attitude of communicating knowledge well and trying to overcome the paradox of reality through knowledge is itself a self-consistent one. There is a fundamental problem with education here. It is also the illusion of a educated person as a contradictory enlightenment that education tries to put itself in the way of effective communication. If knowledge is not compatible with reality, or if education is an efficient delivery system of knowledge, it has no meaning in the contradictions and repressive improvements of reality. And yet, everyone is obsessed with education. This obsession is not a value of critical reason and human dignity but an inculcated brainwashing of power for the release of the standard workers and the purpose of conformative human-like development. The forced illusion of knowledge making a better human being only contributes to the established creation of an orderly order. The reality is that, while structured by the benefits of class domination or greed and power, it has been as though knowledge has built human civilization and promoted dignity and dignity, out of subtle covertly hiding ethical criticism of it, pointing to the authoritative discourses and the Tower of knowledge structure. Knowledge is already a class-dominant scarlet stomach. So education should be a system of criticism and insight for ethics and justice, and when it comes to knowledge, it must be the death of true education and the tool of class domination.
