Heo Young-sik: Constitutional Patriotism and Civic Education

What are the principles of patriotism and civil education, and how do we set and interpret the relationship between these two concepts? And what are the goals and challenges and actions of civil education that are motivated by constitutional patriotism? The book seeks to find a suitable answer to these fundamental questions. In this attempt, I want to briefly introduce the relationship between adjournalism and Voytelsbach accord and civil education. The Bottelsbach accord, which is considered the foundation of civil education, plays a significant role in its contribution to the constitutional patriotism which has made the maintenance and progress of free democratic fundamental order, including legalism. The Voytelsbach accord includes three principles for specific teaching in civic education (not reforming, reflect the argument, consider the learning mind) and thus perform its function as a guardian of civil education.
