In this third edition, the sections on the shape of the Earth and the celestial sphere have been separated. In the unit on the shape of the Earth, the history of cosmological changes and the history of astronomy in Korea have been newly added. In the unit on the solar system, Pluto has been removed from the list of planets, and content regarding the Kuiper Belt, the Oort Cloud, and exoplanetary systems has been added. The inquiry activities have been partially revised and supplemented based on content directly conducted with students.
