It was pretty good and fun than review!
The textbook is well-organized and consists of the latest past exam questions, so I think it is a good resource for preparing for the Regional Agricultural Cooperative NCS.
I received it this morning and started reading, but page 33 immediately follows page 16....? I've already opened it and even noted the date I started reading, so I don't think I can exchange it....... Since this is a defect that appeared while I was reading, will I be compensated? I am absolutely dumbfounded;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
I haven't read much yet, but the writing in the beginning is captivating. I think I'll enjoy reading it.
I was deeply impressed by Bernard Werber's *Death* a few months ago, so I am very glad to have had the opportunity to read his new work, *Memory*. With its cover that is overwhelming like a work of art, this novel can be described as a fantasy adventure story featuring the protagonist, René. It primarily deals with René traveling through his past lives through hypnosis, and every time I read it, I find myself turning the pages, curious to see what kind of past life René will encounter next.
The first act, which plunged in abruptly without an opening, is filled with the same vibrancy as before, causing me to repeat "It's crazy! It's crazy!" from the very beginning of my precious early morning hours. A significant part of the enjoyment comes from the fact that the writing style of translator Jeon Mi-yeon, whom I have always admired, feels somehow deeper and more splendid. Back in my college days, I worked as a part-time supervisor at the campus library instead of studying, just to
Joarah, the writer.
Among the historical facts we know, there is much false information that was actually misrepresented. In the past, authoritative historians prioritized delivering information entertainingly rather than providing accurate facts, and that is how it was conveyed. The current situation is not much different. In this era where fake news and false history run rampant, where sensational false claims and conspiracy theories targeting speculative gains by attacking bland truths are chaotically
This is a captivating book that makes even lifelong Christians want to believe in and experience past lives. I have attached the actual notes I took while reading the book. It organizes information about the past lives that René, a history teacher, encountered through regressive hypnosis in chronological order; each number corresponds to one of the 111 past lives in which René’s ‘soul’ lived, and René Toledano is currently living his 112th life. Originally, I did not believe in superstitions,
Am I the only one who finds this book surprisingly scary? It was a book that felt a bit spooky, quite different from what I expected. #PastLife I've always been curious about my past life, but reading this novel made me even more curious. The interpretation that we are on a journey to find our memories also felt unique to me. I used to think that life and memories are what accumulate as I live my life, but the characters in the novel look like perfectly fitting vessels stacked on top of each
Bernard Werber: Memory 1
Bernard Werber, a bestselling author beloved by Korean readers, has released his new two-volume novel *Memory* through Open Books, translated by Jeon Mi-yeon, a translator specializing in French literature. Werber, who has consistently released new works, expands his unique worldview by traversing time and space under the theme of "memory." The protagonist, René Toledano, is a high school history teacher. He visits the Seine River cruise theater *Pandora's Box* and is chosen as a subject for regressive hypnosis. Having succeeded in the hypnosis, René is able to open the doors of memory lining the corridors of his unconscious. The memory he glimpses beyond the doors is that of his past life, lost on the battlefield of World War I. Tormented by memories that remain vivid and intense even after the hypnosis ends, he gets caught up in a physical altercation, unintentionally kills someone, and spends anxious days agonizing over whether or not to turn himself in to the police. Meanwhile, René discovers that he has had a total of 111 past lives and opens the doors to various memories, including his time as a World War I soldier. Surprisingly, his very first past life was that of Geb, a man living on the legendary island that modern people call "Atlantis." Believing that Atlantis has sunk beneath the sea, René is determined to save Geb at all costs, and Opal, a hypnotist he met on the stage of "Pandora's Box," volunteers to be his ally. With René being chased by the police and treated as a lunatic in his current life, and a great flood predicted in his past lives, what will be the fate of René and Geb?
