Yun Hong-geun: Corporate political activities
The book deals with the political activities of corporations and profit groups who are trying to influence government policies. To explain and understand democratic processes, you have to be able to see the world of corporate politics. The average voters are bypassed and indirectly affect power by the election participation that comes back every few years. But the profit groups, such as corporations, can always be immediately influential against elected public officials. In Korea, research on corporate politics has been very limited. The problem is that the public public is left in the context of the concept of ‘illegal lobby’ and watched as it affects public officials. The researcher has defined the executive service of companies in Korea as a Korean lobby and has tried to test the validity of the ‘illegal lobby’ frame through empirical scientific research. The extensions described the character and characteristics of Korean lobbying in terms of international comparison and tried to test theoretically the issue of the disparity of the introduction of lobby law.
