I struggled through another thick book until it started feeling confusing, so I boldly changed the order. As expected, learning a language easily and enjoyably is the answer. This is good. Roots and branches are what matter in an introductory book.
I like being able to read this while comparing Rust with Python. It's easy even for readers without a computer science background.
Rust can be hard to learn because it has new concepts and restrictions unlike traditional languages such as C++, Java, and C#. By comparing it with easier-to-learn Python, this book reduces the burden for people hesitant to learn Rust and helps them understand it.
In other hands-on books, inadequate sample code or missing screenshots have made me wonder, 'Am I following this correctly?' With Programming Rust by Comparing It with Python, commands are clearly explained and example code and results are covered carefully, so I could study comfortably without running the code myself.

Yoon In-do: Rust programming
Comparing Python and Rust code, this book shows their similarities and differences to make Rust easier to understand. Clear explanations teach Rust basics—its type system, functions, closures, and macros—even if you don't know Python. Readers familiar with Python can better grasp advanced Rust topics such as ownership, generics, traits, multithreading, and testing. Rust developers may also discover things they hadn't known through comparison with another language.
