My daughter is in 2nd grade. I applied to review this vocabulary book because I felt she needed to start memorizing English words. I thought it would just be simple writing down words, but it exceeded my expectations. I heard that the recommended vocabulary for elementary school is 800 words. The creators seem to have made this book because reading while imagining a story makes memorization much easier and helps you remember the words for longer, rather than just memorizing them.
