I had many questions about radiology exams and nursing starting with my hospital clinical rotations, and this edition of Preceptor’s Guide: Radiology has been a great help! What I liked: 1. Easy-to-read writing (the story format really draws you in!) 2. Lots of photos (seeing is believing! The many photos make it fun and realistic!) 3. “Quick reminder: Don’t forget this!” (I like that it repeats essential points, such as checking for possible pregnancy before an X-ray and being careful about
This is a great book to study before and after starting work as a new nurse. You might wonder what nurses need to learn about radiology, but reading this will change your mind. It covers imaging exams from the basics and explains in detail what nurses need to do, so it is very helpful. Highly recommended!
