A book full of details about ancient Rome. It's a book you can leave in your bookcase.
Ancient Rome was then centered around the emperor. It's easy to read and it's very helpful for those of you who start studying Rome.

I recommend reading this book and reading deep Roman history books, including Heikelheim.
A book for students and general culture in a way that sum up events and cases. Rome outlined the setting, the reason for its decline, and the process of Christian religion.
I've been very helpful in seeing his ancient Greek history. So is this book.
I read the ancient Greek too well to buy the Romanes. It's not more touching than the Greek, but it makes sense to the really rare, neat translation. Thank you.
Thomas R. Martin: Ancient Roman history
São Paulo, author of The Roman Catholic Church, Thomas R. Martin, a remarkable example of the way that ancient Rome steadily expanded its power in small communities, reaching its peak as the highest nation in the Mediterranean world and following the course of its rule over the next 500 years. Starting with the Roman creation of the eighth century B.C.E. and describing the comprehensive history of Justinian in the sixth century C.E, he uses the fundamental values of the Romans as a lens to examine the Roman rise and fall of the process. Thus, his efforts to focus on historical events and people's background and motivations are revealed through a wealth of comments throughout the book.
