Personally, the descriptions are too specific and there are too many words, so I don't find it very easy to read, but I do like the writing style. I plan to read it slowly and carefully.
I bought it because the translation is good and it's a hardcover. Haha.

It portrays the psychology of an old writer yearning for a handsome young man in great depth, so I kept reading until the end. The only downside is that there are some expressions in Aschenbach’s monologues that are difficult to understand, even after reading them several times.
