Personally, the descriptions are too specific and there are too many words, so I don't find it very easy to read, but I do like the writing style. I plan to read it slowly and carefully.

I watched the movie and became curious about the original work, so I decided to read it; the content is very similar to the film. It portrays the psychology of an old writer yearning for a handsome young man in great depth, so I kept reading until the end. The only downside is that there are some expressions in Aschenbach’s monologues that are difficult to understand, even after reading them several times.
