When we open our hearts to the work, our village becomes an art museum, and the villagers who have commissioned Mr. Kush to build a park are greatly disappointed by the sculptures. The locals wanted to be statues of their own nice looks, but what Kushi has made is just ‘strange things ’ that are not similar to anybody and nothing like anything. The residents have decided to clear the sculpture after winter. So it's a long winter with statues. The villagers have wintered by wind-weaving statues, snowing snowy statues. And when spring finally and the warm sun shines on the statue, instead of removing it, the villagers naturally gather around the statue. The park with the statue was a place for the people to be gathered. Not just that. We have guests who come from far away to see this statue. Like going to an art gallery to enjoy the work. Look around you. Open eyes, shiny eyes. I may find a ‘ work ’ right there in the eye of my eyes. And then this place I stand for at that moment becomes an art gallery.
