Volume 2 of the “Series on Chinese Practices” is the result of research conducted by the Incheon National University HK Research Group on Chinese Practices. This series includes not only the group’s research findings but also translations of major overseas works related to the agenda. *People of the Chinese Dongme in Injugol* presents concrete and tangible results by directly entering the realities of life and listening to the voices of the Chinese community through the family story of Son Deok-jun, an overseas Chinese in Incheon. Overseas Chinese have realized their own unique way of life that is both distinct from and trans-Chinese, sometimes distinguishing themselves from Korean society and at other times merging with it.
