Shin Young-ho: German Legal Terminology Dictionary

The *Dictionary of German Legal Terms* is the 27th volume of the *Knowledge Law Opening Tomorrow* series. It is a compilation of terms, usage examples, and their German and parallel translations regarding the fundamental concepts of approximately 300 German laws, intended for the many law majors who directly encounter German literature within the continental legal system. Generally, the text faithfully provides parallel translations by citing the first paragraph of each relevant legal provision (primarily from the German Ministry of Justice data as of January 2008). For other basic academic concepts, it introduces them with faithful German explanations and parallel translations. Furthermore, in cases where translation is controversial, the perspectives of as many specialists as possible have been reflected, and in instances where interpretation may be difficult, as many examples as possible have been provided.
