In this revised edition, the following contents have been modified and supplemented. In Chapter 1, "Overview of Social Welfare Administration," important practical principles of social welfare administration have been added along with the ideology of social welfare administration; in Chapter 2, "History of Social Welfare Administration," the evolution of Korean social welfare administration since 2013 has been summarized and added; and in Chapter 3, "Theories of Social Welfare Administration," other modern organizational theories such as strategic management, restructuring, reengineering, downsizing, benchmarking, and adhocracy have been added. Furthermore, in Chapter 4, "Social Welfare Service Delivery System," the details of the reorganization of the public social welfare delivery system following changes in government organization and strategies for improving the delivery system have been supplemented; in Chapter 5, "Social Welfare Organizations," the content regarding organizational structure has been modified and supplemented; and in Chapter 10, "Financial Management," relevant contents have been modified and supplemented to comply with the provisions of the current "Financial and Accounting Rules for Social Welfare Corporations and Social Welfare Facilities." In addition, Chapter 12, Information Management and Document Management, supplemented the reorganized content of the National Welfare Information System, and Chapter 13, Program Development and Evaluation, revised the proposal writing content to reflect the recently updated guidelines for writing project plans from the Community Chest of Korea.
