Seo Hee-kyung: The Birth of the Constitution of the Republic of Korea
Korean constitutional government, the birth of the Constitution of the Republic of Korea, from community to private. This book, by way of a comprehensive academic study of the origins of our constitutions and modernism, has crossed the view of ‘the Constitution as a product of politics’ and ‘the politics as a consequence of the Constitution’ to reveal its own self-inflict roots. We explore the origins and establishment of the Constitution in a whole new way, and we review the constitutional significance of the 3/1 movement that has been remembered only as an act of independence, an anti-imperialist movement. By comparing the process of the North Korean Constitution with the Northern Constitution, the civil constitution has taken on different forms from the same root and according to historical experience.
