Description

The 21st century media ecosystem changes are often compressed into social media. The quest for media cemiosis should be turned away from these environmental changes. Social media centers on various Internet platforms, such as online community boards and forums, blogs, minibloggs, social network services, media sharing sites, instant messenger services. So social media is not just a medium for personal communication between individuals, nor is it a public media media like newspapers and broadcasts. Social media may be of a certain degree of difference between the individual and the public, but it is a medium that can create ‘group sociality.’. The symbolic practice and the turmion in the social media of the 11th book of the General General Sémiosis examines that aspect from the point of view of Semios. While academic discussions about social media are largely focused on information science, communications and marketing areas that are very much concerned with practical purposes, humanities are still lacking. So the balance-making view is presented in human literature, hoping to come from metalogy, linguistics, literature, philosophy, anthropologists, and art.
