In this book, we established the concept of "self-esteem," which is referred to by various names such as confidence, self-pride, and self-trust, and structured a program utilizing the elements of self-esteem: self-understanding, interpersonal relationships, a sense of purpose, and competence. Although it was a challenging task to translate vague and intangible abstract concepts into concrete activities, we developed a 13-session program based on literature research, surveys, and various counseling and educational programs, and organized diverse activities and audiovisual materials.
