I chose this to teach my mom piano:) Even a mom learning for the first time can follow along well, and the concise explanations and sheet music are great!
I think it is perfect for adults. However, I wish there were a bit more variety in the songs.
It's so easy and engaging that even a guy over 40 finished it before he knew it! I finished it in a week haha. I'm off to buy volume 2!

I spent a lot of time deliberating which Bayer piano book to buy. Having learned piano as a child, I wanted to play again as an adult, so I was debating which book to start with when I discovered this piano method book: Volume 1 (For Adults). I purchased this book, and I am glad I did. Actually, I was debating whether to buy the two-volume Bayer set I used to learn from, or this book which is divided into Volumes 1, 2, and 3. While I was deciding, I was able to check the contents of this book
