Description

What sounds do different trains make as they travel? When the stationmaster blows the whistle—tweet!—the steam locomotive chugs away from the station, puffing smoke. A freight train loaded with lumber clatters through a deep forest, and an express train toots as it crosses a bridge over a valley. At the dock where a big ship arrives, a freight train loads cargo with a bang and a thump. Trains run through the middle of the desert, too. The crossing signal flashes and rings ding-ding-ding-ding! as a warning, and the train passes with a clang-clang! Follow the shallow grooves in the vivid, colorful pictures with your finger to feel their texture, and peek through the holes to spot the animals in the next scene. Enjoy all kinds of play with your baby! Ways to play together: This all-in-one sound book offers three kinds of play: listening, touching, and peekaboo. Follow your baby’s interests and enjoy them in different ways. Hear ten lively, three-dimensional train sounds, including the stationmaster’s whistle, the train’s horn, wheels rolling along the tracks, and the railroad crossing signal. They help develop your baby’s hearing while building curiosity and concentration. Imitate the different sounds: chug-chug, clatter-clatter, toot, and clang-clang! This helps your baby’s language skills grow. Feel the bumpy texture of the punched paper, put a finger through the holes, and look for the hidden animals peeking through, just like playing peekaboo. This develops your baby’s sense of touch and stimulates the brain.

The best thing about sound books is that they spark curiosity and leave no room for boredom, helping children who are still learning to read build a habit of concentrating on books. That may be why the Usborne series has become such a parenting staple! Chug-chug! The variety of train sounds sparked my baby’s imagination and made reading together so much fun. The illustrations are lovely, and the thoughtful variety makes me want to fill our bookshelf with more books from the series.

My 16-month-old and I had a great time with World Trains Sound Book. From the attractive trains on the cover to the many animals, three-dimensional pages, and sounds that play when you press the buttons, I could tell this was a book any baby would love. My baby has been interested in animals lately, so they pointed at them and tried to imitate their sounds. They pressed the buttons to listen and even danced to the chugging train sounds! With so many different trains, a baby who loves trains

The pictures are charming and colorful, which sparks curiosity, and the variety of sounds stimulates a baby’s hearing, building interest and concentration. When my child wakes up in the morning, they bring me this book first and ask me to read it, so I think it will help us develop good reading habits. There are fun situations for adults to read aloud, and you can make up stories about the hidden animals. I recommend this useful and entertaining book.

With train sounds added to a cute picture book, it’s no wonder my baby loves it! I had no idea trains could make so many different sounds. The baby enjoys pressing the buttons to hear trains from around the world, looking through the book, and then bringing out a toy train to play. This all-in-one sound book helps develop language, hearing, and touch. Highly recommend!

I was excited to hear that a new book had come out in the Our Baby’s Five Senses series, which my child loves. They got excited as soon as they saw the train on the cover. The book features wonderful trains traveling around the world: a steam locomotive setting off with a “chug-chug,” a freight train racing along with a “clatter-clatter,” and an express train crossing with a “toot” of its horn. Until now, I had only taught my child that trains go “choo-choo,” so I liked that this book lets us

Usborne sound books are so well known that we already have a few different kinds, but World Trains Sound Book features such a variety of train sounds that it caught my baby’s interest in a new way. The sounds are different from animal or nature sounds—there are chugs and dings—and it’s adorable and fascinating to see how attentively the baby responds. Each page features different kinds of trains and places, with a simple story that is easy to read aloud and illustrations that are fun to
