I am very interested in digital drawing, but I do not own an iPad, so I cannot use the Procreate app; even so, I read this book. I use a Galaxy Tab. Like other digital-drawing books, it starts by explaining the program's features. This part seemed similar to Clip Studio, though there are some differences. One difference from other digital drawing books is that this one offers advice on expression, not just functional instructions such as how to use layers or brushes. Books about Clip Studio
I have liked artist Ring's illustrations for a long time, so I was happy to get to enjoy this book too! It is fairly easy. It starts with the basics, such as creating layers, so even people who have never used Procreate can learn. It covers drawing simple objects and room illustrations, then making frame animations in the later chapters. If you follow along step by step, you can easily draw illustrations that move. The little tips throughout were useful too. If you are curious about the
I enjoyed learning the basic use of Procreate and how to make simple frame animations. I recommend it!
RING: iPad drawing with moving pictures
This book introduces a range of features, from downloading Procreate for drawing on an iPad and learning its basic functions to exploring the animation interface. After installing Procreate, you will learn the basics of its main Gallery screen and canvas, then explore the animation interface before making animations. You will learn about the app's signature brushes and use them to create different textures, then draw cute accessories, characters, and rooms and make illustrations. Even without drawing fundamentals, you can follow the character-design lessons and complete a range of work, from characters without backgrounds to room illustrations. Next, you will use Animation Assist to learn particle animation and how to add animation to illustrations to create live illustrations. The lessons cover a range of animation techniques, from a simple blink to an animal character nodding. Finally, you can use your own illustrations to make a variety of goods. Example and finished files can be downloaded by visiting www.youngjin.com, clicking Customer Center, choosing Supplement CD Download, and searching for the book title.
