A long - term project called The General Critics, which uses modern philosophical and theoretical narratives to diagnose and explore the pathological contradictions of Korean society, is called The First General Schism. It is a book that looks back on the Frankfurter Allgemeine's critical insight into the ‘A paradox of Progress ’ in European society, thus criticizing and seeking alternative solutions to the contradictory realities of Korean society. The book introduces the ideas of the Frankfurters and asks whether their Tej, or claims, are still valid in criticizing modern society. This question emphasizes that the Frankfurt's Tejs are a useful reference to today's social realities.
