Description

The "New Mushrooms of Korea" from the "Nature Atlas of Korea Series" provides detailed explanations of the morphology, ecology, occurrence season, edibility and toxicity, uses, medicinal effects, and indications for each of the 640 species of mushrooms native to Korea, and includes various photographs depicting mature mushrooms, young mushrooms, gills, and pores. In particular, instead of the morphological classification system used until now, it follows the systematic classification system that is becoming a global trend, and distinguishes edible, medicinal, and poisonous mushrooms by symbols so that they can be identified at a glance.
