The general use of terms such as data-based decision making and big data analysis recently shows the demand for rapidly increasing data in all fields of social science and natural science, including politics, economics, society and culture. The shift in thinking that the material-based decision-making, based on more scientific and rational data than intuition or empirical knowledge of a particular field, has been going on since the 18th century, and this seems to have been gaining its prominence.
