It helped me understand the market economy.
Is government intervention necessary in a free market, or does it harm the efficiency of the free market and infringe upon individual freedom? What is the appropriate level?
I have only read the beginning so far, but it feels like it is quite short for a book of roughly 240 pages. The engaging narrative style keeps the reading from becoming boring. I think it would be a good idea to give it a read through a library or a friend first; if the content feels accessible, purchasing it right away would be a good idea.
A must-read for economics majors, and a book that anyone interested in economics should read at least once.

This is a somewhat difficult book. It made me realize that I need to learn more about Keynes. I have personally read a few books on Hayek's philosophy, but the more I read, the more difficult it becomes. Keynes's ideas consist of content we have seen frequently in textbooks. I feel that we also need economic knowledge that suits us. While we could adopt economic philosophies that fit us perfectly through these two economists, we also need our own economist. Young Korean scholars participated in this project to break down academic boundaries and disciplines, aiming to connect human knowledge with the public.
