Description

The book is a four-book series of the East Asian Academy of Schools at the University of the St. If the goal was to provide specific examples of East Asian research through one and two books and create a unified and universal paradigm, the Third volume would try to build and propose the open East Asia as a vision beyond the way and the visual. The fourth volume tries to take a different view of the ‘modern’ world’ and give various intellectual instruments to rethink the ‘alday ’ of East Asia by reviewing the information that has affected the formation of the'modern' East Asian world. The modern East Asian world is shaped by dynamic changes in the knowledge that have created a wide range of values and exotic identity, which clash politically and culturally. So the acceptance and transformation of Western knowledge, the process of political and religious relations, the change in cultural identity, the congregating and establishing of historical political narratives, have important implications for understanding our place in life. The title of this book, called the Modern East Asian Arts and the Political Revolution, is to try to context the 'knowledge' layer and address cultural and political narratives that respond to the crisis by checking the patterns of the past but dynamic process of knowledge. It also extends its discussion from the Japanese example of accepting Western knowledge first and forming modern countries, to the formation and knowledge of the modern East Asian world.
